LIVE review: The Voodoo, Belfast - Cult of Necro

Cheers to ' Cult Of Necro ' for this cool review from our debut show: THE CRAWLING   Opening things up we have a band that need to instantly be at the top of your "to watch" list, Lisburn's THE CRAWLING. And holy shit, what a debut show. A sound often not unlikeCARCASS, yet tinged with blackness and doom, in genre and in meaning. "End Of The Noose", "Catatonic" and "Breathe Through Concrete" are all songs we want on record right fucking now. This is one hell of a tight performance, and a band that demonstrate why you should get your ass down to a gig early and support the local scene. Debut show complete.

(c) Chris Craig Our debut show at The Voodoo in Belfast was a storming success. We were pretty nervous, as I hadn't done a show in 2-3 years, the other guys were over 10; but it turned out really well. We would like to offer a sincere thanks to friends and bands that gave is support on the night - it was much appreciated! The Set: 1. CHOKING ON CONCRETE 2. GROVEL 3. ALL OUR FAILINGS 4. CATATONIC 5. END OF THE ROPE We hope you enjoyed the show, we have a planned tour for Feb 2015, but might slip another gig in before then - who knows! Thanks again to all the bands, and those who came down to support us. Keep it fucking miserable people! ANDY
